Pancha Karma Therapy (Multiple sessions)
A thorough body detoxification and cleansing therapy. It is advised that one undergo this therapy yearly during either summer or at the change of seasons. It promotes weight loss in a healthy way through cleansing herbs and a diet rid of harmful, toxin-causing foods and includes an Ayurvedic consultation, pre-care and follow-up care (closely supervised and monitored by an Ayurvedic Practitioner and including nutritional guidance) and (at a minimum, depending on the client’s individual needs) abhyanga treatments (steam included), shirodhara, nasya, netra basti and basti, among others determined by the client's individual needs. Pancha Karma package will include accommodation offered at a location outside of the Miami area. Pancha Karma must be scheduled at least 30 days (one month) in advance of its anticipated start date, and a minimum of one week's scheduled treatment is required. Because of specific procedural requirements for the effective administration of this therapy, it is strongly suggested that individuals planning on this procedure telephone the Wellness Center's director at (305) 380-0652. An initial assessment with an Ayurvedic Practioner at our clinic is required.
Reiki (1 hour)
This simple, non-invasive healing system works with the energetic body of the client to promote health and well being of the entire physical, emotional and psychic body, truly a system of attaining and promoting wholeness of Mind, Body and Spirit. Reiki is a specific type of subtle energy work in which healing is performed by the touch or by the intention of the practitioner (it can be performed in a hands-on or touchless manner, in close proximity or at a great distance), allowing the flow of the energy from a limitless source to the client via the Reiki practitioner. It is extremely powerful, yet gentle energy that fosters stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the body's natural healing abilities.
